Maui artist, JA (Julie) Taylor, centers her art on the
beautiful scenery of Hawaii, as well as other islands of the
Pacific. She also paints still life and many other visionary
works, as well, that depict the beauty of the islands of the
Pacific. Julie is the recipient of the "People's Choice
Award" in the 1998 Lahaina Poster Contest for her "Lahaina
Aloha" painting, now available as a limited edition
reproduction, and participated in the 1997 Maui Mayor's
Invitational Exhibit. She has been involved in art and music
since childhood and received honors for her paintings, even
while a teenager in school.
